Search Indexing

Download an ISO

For the best results, please use one of these supported stable builds. However, Windows Home editions aren’t supported. Atlas supports the latest stable Windows 11 versions in the same download. The ISO downloader in our documentation downloads unmodified ISOs directly from Microsoft’s servers. Distributing ISO files violates Microsoft’s terms and poses major safety risks due to there being no easy way to verify modified third-party ISOs aren’t malicious. Choose the option you wish to install with and follow the instructions.

By default, Atlas disables Copilot as it is seen as an annoyance to most users and raises privacy concerns for some users. This feature requires Microsoft Edge, so the script will prompt you to re-install it if Edge is not installed. File sharing allows sending files across your local network to other Windows devices, and it’s a part of network discovery. If you wish to enable this, run the Enable Delivery Optimization.reg file. You can’t use the script below if Atlas detects that either is enabled. Disabling CPU idle on systems where hyper-threading or SMT is enabled will cause a major drop in performance.

Only the latest non‑beta, non‑Insider versions are supported.Insider builds are not designed for stability.

However, this is fundamentally a decrease in security for convenience, and it is an overall personal preference. Drivers are essential software components that enable the OS to communicate with hardware devices. It’s important to understand that when you have chosen the manual driver updates path when installing AtlasOS, no drivers will be installed when needed. We do not recommend installing your graphics drivers via SDIO as they can be heavily bloated.

Recall uses AI to automatically take screenshots of the content you view, so that you can easily search or use a timeline to see exactly what you were doing later. Microsoft’s location service enables Windows devices to pinpoint their exact geographic location, allowing apps to provide location-based features such as navigation. Once the computer is powered back on, it will resume everything you left off. This allows your computer to turn off entirely, meaning hibernation mode uses no power. Hibernate essentially puts your computer to sleep, but instead of saving your running applications to your RAM, it saves them to your drive.
